April Rhodes Popover Poncho Pattern (paper)
Suitable for beginning sewers.

Includes sizes small/medium, large and plus size.
Suggested fabric types for the popover poncho: medium to heavyweight textile, such as wool, fleece, or heavy knit.
SUGGESTED FABRIC AMOUNT (in yards)
Small / Medium - 3 yards (45" wide) or 2 yards (54" wide)
Large - 3.25 yards (45" wide) or 2.25 yards (54" wide)
Plus size - 3.5 yards (45" wide) or 2-1/3 yards (54" wide)
You will also need 3/4 yard of light weight coordinating fabric for Cowl lining and optional bias hem for all sizes.
OTHER MATERIALS NEEDED
1 yard of 1/2” wide twill tape or other ribbon/cording for drawstring.
tailor’s chalk or water-soluble fabric marker (Some do not disappear on all fabric types, so always test first!)
hem gauge/ruler (we like to use the Dritz E-Z Hem.)
iron and ironing board
pattern tracing paper (optional)
Optional - Two 1/4” eyelets and 2 metal drawstring cord ends
